I'm still trying to understand exactly how Humira works.....Seems like after my injection I'm more tired that day.....is it possible it is because it is working hard....like the initial surge or is it just me being worn out and in need of the Humira??
Well if you figure it out, let us know. Not everybody has the effect but some do. One of the theories is that because humira works by coming a part of the blood, the tiredness is from lack of water. I have heard from a number of folks who have increased their fluid intake they had less effect......
I have "flu" symptoms about 1 or 2 days after my injection and it lasts around 24 hours. I now take my injection of Friday nights so I have the weekend to get the extra rest I seem to need. I have not paid attention to the water/dehydration situation, but I will now....
Thanks for the responses guys! I must admit I have not been drinking all the water I should lately.....seems I am retaining more....but I will increase and see if that helps. :)
