Those that do MTX injections, do you have trouble with bleeding from thinned blood?
It is mentioned in the side effects. “You may bleed more easily. Be careful and avoid injury. Use a soft toothbrush and an electric razor.”
I got a little scrape on the backside of my hand, the blood just kept oozing. I stopped taking aspirin because I don’t want to thin the blood even more…
Have you spoken to your doctor about this? Some side effects may require a change of meds, but that’s something for you and your doctor to discuss.

Yes, good advice. I have not brought it up, it has been kind of slowely getting worse. The blood work comes back normal. I wa just wondering if others experenced this.
The referance on the Methotrexate page, mentioned it not as a adverse side effect, just has a precausion.
