I’ve been sooo fatigued these past few weeks during Spring allergy season. I read an article that said allergies can cause PsA flare ups.
Is anyone else experiencing flare ups associated with allergies?
thanks!

Before I started Enbrel the spring flare was bad. Very bad. Now it’s fairly minimal, although it would certainly explain my increased pain, inflammation and fatigue right now. Thanks for the reminder.
For 2 or 3 years I took allergy meds in the spring to see if the flare could be avoided. It didn’t work for me, but have you tried it?
Yes, I’ve been taking allergy meds but it isn’t helping with my debilitating fatigue. I’ve had to start using prednisone to function and to get to work
Thanks for responding Stoney!
I do have seasonal allergies (all seasons separately apparently… last year it was march until October for me) I haven’t noticed a connection to PsA flare-ups… but when it’s particularly bad I do get really tired…
Yes, I experience this. My pcp prescribed hydroxyzine hcl 10mg. Not sure if I am in flare or if it is related.
I’m not sure its allergies as much as it is the unstable weather and the low pressure systems we get coming through. Technically seasonal allergies SHOULD have a koebner effect and lower disease activity (I SAID TECNICALLY, impossible to deny what happens to many of us) Keep in mind allergy medicine requires higher levels of hydration oy the PsA WILL get you. Clear Pee for sure…
