Rain vs snow

Does anyone know if snow is as bad for arthritis pain as rain?

In the summer, we have a lot of rain--in winter, a lot of snow here in Minnesota. I've never noticed a difference in my PsA symptoms, but my osteoarthritis seems to hurt more on bad weather days (snow or rain)-sometimes! I think it's the barometric pressure that causes flares of some types of pain. I doubt if there's actual proof that weather affects PsA, but I could be wrong.

I notice I do better is cold but not wet and cold. Rain it does not make a difference.

I swell and hurt more during the winter (we have a lot of rain). I was thinking about moving somewhere that has snow in winter and wasn’t sure if it would be any different

I’m actually going through this right now! Currently live in Vancouver, Canada. My husband and I are hoping to move in to the interior of the province for a few reasons but I’m hopeful the less rainy climate will help! Winters are so hard here for me because the rain is pretty much non stop, I definitely feel it.

I notice I have a lot more pain as the weather starts to change. Mostly in the fall and winter. Rain and winter can be tough months to get threw with PsA.
