Has anyone tried treatment of LDN for Psoriatic arthritis? I see some old entries, but nothing recently.

I remember looking into it quite a few years ago as an alternative therapy. My rheumatologist had very strong arguments against its use, but I don’t remember the details.
Naltrexone for pain was actually as effective as Roxicodone and Dilaudid, which in truth was not very effective at all. I quit the Naltrexone because it was simply to hard to urinate. At one time I thought pain killers would give me my life back, but quit because they simply didn’t work for me. I had 270 30mg Roxicodone’s and nothing improved, and I took it as a sign that the risk were not worth cost.
I wish I could tolerate Marijuana, because for me it is a great pain reliever, but I hate how it makes me feel – so I have to be extremely uncomfortable to use it.
Keith you might try one of these if you have a good shop:
- Harle-Tsu (the best IMO)
- Suzy Q
- Charlotte’s Web
- Ringo’s Gift
- Remedy
A CBD:THC ratio of 30:1 is what you are after. IF you go the edible route be especially cognizant of the CBD:THC ratio as they are usually made from oils which are high THC. Just because you are buying from a dispensary doesn’t mean you are getting medical types or buying from someone who knows ehat they are selling. There are many who are simply Pot shops and using “MMJ” as a way around pot laws. If they are selling a lot of Glassware walk out. If your state has legal pot, get a green card anyway. There is USUALLY a much higher tax on recreational pot. and you can save a few bucks
I’ve been using LDN 2-3 yrs now.
It’s not a strong drug (thus the low dose naltexone name) so at first the effects are sometimes had to see. But I can truly say… At first wasn’t sure it even was helping. But now if I DON’T take it, I remain painful all day. The pain in my joints goes away- but the stiffness due to the damage remains.
