That looks beautiful!
That does look relaxing!
You have a narrow boat! How wonderful! Being in the US they seem kind of magical to me. As do thatched cottages, old Norman ruins and such. Nearly 40 years ago I lived in the UK for a little over a year and loved every minute of it. It’s such a beautiful country.

Gosh no I don’t own it, we merely rented it for a week’s holiday. We booked this holiday in November 2019 due to take place last April. Of course that got cancelled due to Covid lockdown and we pushed it to this April. Luckily for us we were allowed to go on self catering holidays from 12 April and Wales even permitted us to cross its border a week later, just before we left. We did the Llangollen Canal from Whitchurch in Shropshire to Llangollen in Wales and back. It’s a really popular route due to the huge aqueducts 125 feet in the air (one picture shows one) and for us it was pretty empty amazingly. We even had a supermarket delivery of groceries to the boat yard so we were all set food and drink wise for the week too. So it was brilliant - not too many people re Covid and quiet canals and stunningly good weather. And simply the most amazing adventure every single day.
I managed it despite an Achilles tendon issue going on mostly because my partner could do alot of it especially the mooring up with the ropes etc.
