I did it!

I did it. I completed a LARGE wedding cupcake order (one of my many side jobs). 168 cupcakes decorated extensively. The whole process took me 12 1/2 hours from baking to freezing (it's 100+ degrees every day and I have to deliver them and hour north of where I live). I didn't know if I was going to make it. My hands were hurting this morning as well as my back but I pushed through and kept telling myself that I could do it. It hurts, it hurts bad but I accomplished something and didn't let pain stop me. Granted I'm miserable now but dammit I am proud of myself. I'm pretty sure my index finger knuckle is completely screwed since the bone has changed a lot and if a lot larger but I'll deal with that later. I'm miserable, tired but so happy that I can still make beautiful things. I guess I feel that I should try and get things done now while I can because I have no idea what the future holds which is why I've made 9 quilt tops in the past 4 months. I have much more to do but it will have to be another day. :)

I too accomplished something positive today, i went and worked at my daughters swim meet. It was fun and exhausting but seeing her smile on her face was priceless. Next up football season.....

That's wonderful!!! I think that if we put our minds to it we really can do whatever we want. :)

There's nothing like a goal to get us ignited eh? Good for you Leahdc!
