My recent visitors left me a gift- a COLD! Suffered for a few days but today feel like I'm turning the corner-ie. nose not running, cough settled mostly. However, I am due to have my Humira shot tomorrow- is it ok to go ahead?
Sorry, but haven't been in this position (despite all my issues don't really get what I call ''normal sickness"' LOL ) before am unsure what to do but know you guys have great advice

I have been on Humira for 5yrs and havent missed a shot due to illness myself. I am a preschool teacher and around lots of coughs and colds so have my share but dont find the Humira makes it worse for me or that i have more difficulty fighting infection. Id say if you have a fever or a really ill? Maybe hold off but otherwise i myself still tske it:) Hope this helps!
I'm enbrel but I have never missed a shot either BUT if its a "chest cold" I ALWAYS call the doc. If my snot is anything but perfectly clear.... I call the doc.

Thanks TNT! Snot clear like water LOL cough pretty dry. Don't feel like I have a fever now but will see how I feel tomorrow. Hate the thought of missing out on my GO juice(as I call my Humira) but certainly don't want to add to my miseries.
