My first embrel injection worked great! I was totally pain free for one week. The 2nd injection did not work as well as I know have some pain but nothing like the horrid pain I had before. I am fighting my insurance company to get them to pay for it!
Wow, Moxie! You’re one of the lucky ones who got an immediate response. Here’s hoping things are looking up for you!
What’s the resistance from your insurance about?
The first shot was like that for me, too. I went on about 4 hours of sleep a night for most of that first week. I’m sure your body is adjusting and you’ll keep seeing improvement. Be careful not to overdo it. Your new more limber body might be a little fragile from damage already done–I found that out with my back 2 months after starting Enbrel. That stinks about the insurance. I hope things work out! Good luck!
Not sure what is going on with the insurance...My prescription has been thru 2 pharmacies and the insurance says they have not recieved all my information from the pharmacy--and the pharmacy says the insurance company will not call them back---so who knows! I just realized it is Enbrel not embrel===I've even been pronouncing it wrong.
Oh well, we knew what you meant. I hope the insurance gets figured out real quick!
