I'm going to say no, because i had a bad one at age 12. And then another one while on PSA meds. But i have a history of kidney stones. I would say have a urologist order a 24 hour urine collection, you can collect it at home. The test really checks everything out, even if i am drinking enough water
Those bladder infections, kidney infections can turn into kidney stones, so i got to watch my oxalates, etc. I currently take Urocit-K med for low citrates.
I remember the last infection, how sick i felt, those chills, teeth shaking

Poor you Heidi, I’ve never experience a kidney infection (also on MTX) but know they are nasty things…can I just suggest that you always make sure your Docs get on top of them because they can (I stress, can) have consequences for kidney function long term if not dealt with properly. Is it something that has grumbled on from the first one? Or were they completely separate occurances?
Thank you both. I think they were separate...they were about 10 months apart. Guess they probably weren't drug related. Probably have to see a urologist. Add another specialist to the list of specialists, lol.
