The FDA cleared Teva Pharmaceutical Industries to market celecoxib capsules in strengths of 50 mg, 100 mg, 200 mg, and 400 mg. The company received sole rights to market all but the 50-mg capsules for 180 days. Mylan Pharmaceuticals received permission to market 50-mg capsules. My understanding is they won't be "generally" available until December. The cost will be very similar as the approval was only for celeopxib which is identical not "equivelent to" As they will be orange book meds because of the black box warnings, it will be late next year before there will be much changee in price and then only because of supply.
