What do you like to do to occupy your time with?

For those of you who aren't able to work any more. What do you like to do to fill your time? If you do crafts, what kind of a craft do you do?

I'm hoping all of us can share our ideas to help others (including myself) come up with new things that we can do to fill our time.

Thank you,
Ben

I just downloaded an app for my iPad to learn Spanish. I have a little herb garden in pots suited for me to look after and I have been writing. Though I have writers block lately probably due to a lack of faith in myself that I just get over as I have lots of story ideas.

I also occasionally paint by numbers, watch scary movies, hang out with friends when up to it, listen to music and meditate.

OMG! Paint by numbers! My grandmother used to do that. That would be just my speed. She did some really awesome paintings that way. I can't knit anymore, and sewing projects are a bit rough, with the cutting parts. But I might just be able to do that. What a great idea! Thanks.

Lots of stuff related to my kids, lunch with friends (lunches are my best time of day), reading, video games, and when I am able quilting. If I can't quilt I plan projects, look back over quilt magazines, read quilt blogs.

Homeschool five kids, watch other people's kids, church choir, church Sunday School planning team, leading breastfeeding support meetings and providing support for breastfeeding mothers, blogging (www.rannygahoots.blogspot.com ), and most currently working on fundraising ideas for a trip my soon-to-be 11 year old daughter and I hope to take to Israel next year, which will include my daughter selling gift certificates for gluten-free confections, me selling childcare gift certificates, my husband and I working together to make wooden necklaces, and my daughter working on and selling jewelry and needle-felted crafts. Oh, and trying to figure out how to eat gluten free for 10 days in Israel. LOL I've also been getting massages and acupuncture every two weeks, doing lots of spring cleaning and reorganizing, and packing for seven people for nine days of camp (coming up in less than 3 weeks!!!).

I should be napping more, meditating more, sleeping more, and possibly even figuring out if I should be applying for disability.
