I went and spent the weekend in San Fransisco with my daughter and her family. They were very thoughtful of my condition and bought tour tickets so we could ride the bus from place to place. I saw parts of SF that I had never seen before. Even with that there was a lot of walking and I had to take pain pills to sleep. Had trouble driving the 7 hours home yesterday too. I had to stop and take a nap twice so 7 hours turned into 9 and I fell into bed the moment I got home. Guess I forgot my condition. It was a wonderful trip and totally worth the exhaustion and pain I am going through today. I just find it very frustrating to not have the stamina that I used to. Getting up for work today was hard too. Should have taken an extra day off to recuperate. Will try to remember that in the future.
