Running low grade fever

For the past couple months now I have at least 2 days a week where I run a low grade fever (99 to 100) with spikes (up to 101). During this time I also feel bad like I am trying to come down with something. Then it just goes away. I don't know if I should call my primary doc or tell my rheumy at my next appt.

My question is, does anyone else here have this problem and if so do you know what it is caused from.

Thanks!

Alma

I do that when i’m flaring. Last time it went on for 3 weeks, dr sent me for an ESR which was high an increased my nsaid dosage. Seemed to do the trick.

Ahh that makes sense Roni, I will try the increase of nsaids and see if that works. thanks xoxo

Are you on any immuno suppressants? I am, and my rheum wants me to tell her about fevers in case it’s an infection my body can’t fight off (once it was a UTI that I couldn’t feel, the other dozen times it was just the disease). My rheum is easy by phone, but if it’s easier to reach your pcp, they can order the labs too
