She is beautiful, well done! I am glad Kim is on the mend.
What a beautiful grandchild. I hope Kim and Penelope each continues to make good progress. I'm so glad to know that you're all out of the woods. Cheers, lamb!
So glad to hear she has turned the corner. Longest 48 hours of your life?
Thank you so much for that update, Lamb! It means a lot to me, and I'm sure to others also, to hear such details. It's not a book... you're merely letting us see you're human... with issues and "challenges" like other families face!
And now, to see little Penelope and that gorgeous head of hair already!! Oh my! She is absolutely beautiful!!
Thank goodness all is well, your grandaughter is simply beautiful.Congratulations to you all.
Your granddaughter is absolutely beautiful! I am glad all is going well. :)
I don't know if I have told you or not Lamb but I knit prayer shawls. I do it at night while watching tv. It keeps my fingers supple and I give them to people with serious illness or grief. While I am knitting I say prayers for the person receiving it and for others. Right now I am doing one for a new mother (or she will be in November!) who loves turquoise so it is in shades of turquoise. Sometimes I choose the color by the recipient's diagnosis (who knew so many diseases have a color!) or by their birth month or favorite color if I am given that information. I also say prayers in different languages and religions if it is appropriate for the recipient. I recently did one for a Vietnamese woman and learned a lot of Buddhist prayers. I know our good lord knows them all and I am learning lots! Right now I have been praying for a Ranger named Jacob who was was near death, needed many transfusions but recently was transferred to a bigger trauma center in Chicago and is doing better. I have added Kim and Penelope (and you if I must tell!) to my nightly prayers. I love that my prayers get knitted in with each stitch and later as the person is using it they are released again.
I will say lots of prayers. Nothing is harder than to see your child suffering. God bless.
Michael, I absolutely love the meaning behind your shawls, obviously you knit with a lot of love in your heart and in your fingers. I hope your fingers stay supple and allows you to create your acts of love for a long time
Lamb, so happy to hear that things are looking better for your daughter, I will continue to keep you all in my thoughts and prayers

Lamb, so happy to hear that the crisis is past. Penelope is beautiful!! Reminds me of my daughter when she was born with all that black hair. So glad Kim is doing better, wow she really gave you a fright I know. So hard to watch our kids suffer whether physically, emotionally or spiritually. Continued prayers for both Kim and Penelope, also you too. I know the stress level for you is through the roof right now, please take care of yourself.

What a darling little girl, one more to love and spoil! I hope that they both continue to progress, until they are well and in good health! Never hurts to have a special connection to the attending Physician, you know they will get extra special care!
Our prayers remain with your loved ones. Get some rest when you can!
She's perfect Grandpa! Still holding all of you in my thoughts and prayers these days. Babies are the absolute best gift we can ever receive. Keep up your ever faithful father's vigil and share more pics when you feel its time. I'm sure we would all love to see more.God bless.
