The CDC is developing its first ever public health agenda for Psoraisis and Psoritaic Athritis. There are some really great priorities with this agenda including improving diagnosis; examining comorbidities such as diabetes and heart disease; studying access to care, the cost of care, and impact on patients’ ability to work; and impact on quality of life.
Congress approved 1.5 million in 2009 for the CDC to start collecting data that will be used in this project.
