If your on methotrexate how much Folic acid do you take each week?
2 mgs daily.
My doctor orders 1mg per day.
I'm on Mtx for years...and always took 1mg......I've been increasing it, per rheummy. Now i just went up to 5mg....i told i her i have some hairloss, but it's genetic, by hairline.....SHe's got me on Rogaine for women! Also she wants to help my fatty liver

I take 1 x5mg tablet four days a week i take the methotrexate on the monday and then the wed-sat folic acid
1 x 1 mg a week every day accept on the day I take mtx
