I notice that everytime I take my MTX medication, my joints are more painful or have flare ups when I wake up in the morning.
Does anyone experience this?
I experience the same issue.
I have had this in the past but not so much now. I have been on methotrexate just over a year. I think sometimes it takes about 24 hours after the shot to knock the inflammation back. It would probably be the same with oral mtx too. Reminds me how much the mtx is working still even when I think it isn't.
I do too so my doctor is switching to injectible to see if this should help. His theory is that it will get into my system quicker.
Who knows?
