Buenos dias!

I'm back from my all-too-short week in Mexico. We had a fantastic trip to a beautiful part of the world and stayed in a swanky condo for a killer price. Zihuatanejo is spectacular as are the surrounding hills and beaches. We spent one day fishing and snorkeling. We managed to catch four bonito on our way out and after snorkeling at a couple of spots we headed to Playa Las Gatas where our fish were served as sushi and also cooked for us. Yum.

The warm weather and constant sunshine helped keep my disease at a rumble. There were LOTS of hills and steps where we stayed so I got plenty of exercise walking to and from the collectivo stop. The food was fantastic, the fresh seafood plentiful (I now better appreciate the French phrase "fruits de mer") and I got my fill of Topos chips and coconut sweets. And I worked on perfecting a killer pina colada!

We came back after yet another ice and snow storm which hit some 86 days after the first one dumped almost 12" of snow on December 6th. Despite the weather in Indiana, I'm finally warm. Nevertheless, I can't wait for better, hotter, weather to take hold. Roll on spring.

I missed all my PSA buddies. Glad to be back!

Welcome back! Glad you had such fun! Spring is coming soon. . . I just got my seed order. Now all I have to do is find my garden under all of the snow.

Hola! And we’re glad to have you back, especially with such a positive report. Yes, it’s been a long long winter in many places. I’m ready for spring too!
