After my mysterious improvement t’other week after having flu I am still absolutely fine - no pain, no swollen bits.
My enbrel medication has just arrived. Do I take it? Do I leave it in the fridge until i have a flare up? I am loathe to take medication unnecessarily however my PsA is clearly not under control as I improved literally overnight. Any thoughts from people out there in Internet land?
Yes, take it. The worst thing you can do is leave it untreated.
What's gonna happen is, a month or years from now you will have swelling/P. That means your Psa has been doing damage that you could have been controling/minimizing.
Bios aren't like asprin with a headache. Bios need to be in your system continuosly to work.
Fingers crossed that you remain pain-free but, take your Enbrel!
Take it. I always feel better PsA-wise when I'm sick. As soon as my body realizes no more germs to fight, BLAMMO! flare. Better to take your biologic consistently. It makes a big difference.
yes take it. the enbrel can still be in your system for alittle while but once its all gone you don't want to wait until flare up because it can cause damage
