Water Blister of my feet

I am having a breakout of water blisters on my feet some small some large. When I talked about this occurring with my Rheumy, he indicated that it was a Arthritis thing. Does anyone else have these water blister. I had always thought that it was athlete's feet. Is there a cause? I have had a lot of heel pain and knee pain in the last 4 weeks so I could be in the middle of a flare.

This is the first time that I have had several feel up with a yellow milky material and looks infected. It is on the side of my foot rather than the sole as usual. It is larger than those on the soles of my feet (yes both feet have them right now). These are long 3/8" x 1/8" and 1/8" high. I did have tape on my feet from a recent trip to the podiatrist. These showed up after the tape came off. I took the tape off because the bottoms of my feet were burning and itchy.

I have never had this, could be allergic to the tape. Best to check with your doctor I think.

I second Michael’s answer. It could be an allergy to the tape, but it might also be a bit infected. Something like that I would want to see my doctor for. Until then, you might get a little relief from an Epsom salts foot soak.

I have Pustular psoriasis on my feet. Some of your symptoms has some similarities, would be worth checking it out with your doctor or dermatologist

Thank you.

I looked it up and viewed the pictures and it is exactly what I have. I have brought it up with all four doctors, none have said or have done anything after viewing it. It is mild compared to most of the pictures. I could cover most of what I have with a quarter. But this last time it was on the heal, toe, side and arch of my foot rather than just in the arch. After viewing the pictures online I also think I have it on my face, neck and stomach. I have my annual with my dermatologist in a month so I will bring it up again.

Thanks again. That is why I like this place so much!

I have Pustular Psoriasis on my feet and hands. The hands are bumps that are blister like, filled with a puss like fluid and when they pop or go away I'm left with brown spots. If you Google Images of Pustular Psoriasis you may be able to compare however I would also talk to your doctor and maybe see a dermatologist. My Rheumy saw it and right away said it looked like Pustular Psoriasis. At the time I only had the bumps on my hand, a few weeks later I started getting a similar thing on my left foot. I was sent to see a dermatologist who confirmed it was Pustular psoriasis.

What have the Dr's done for you other than tell you what it was?

Are you being treated for them in anyway? Does telling the Dr. help him with his treatment plan?

I pointed the outbreak out to my Rheumy, he told me that it was Pustular Psoriasis. He put me on Enbrel not solely on the outbreak but based on my response to MTX. He told me that Enbrel should reduce the outbreaks or eliminated them altogether. I take my third injection tomorrow. He told me that I have Gout and possibly RA as well as PsA.

I have had a few excellent days!!! They were 3 or 4 days after my first injection. Dr warned me that I might have the feeling of extra energy for a while. I also have has some very rotten days. I experiencing lot of exhaustion (most likely from the increased energy) the past few days. I have been negative, I am hoping it passes soon. I have slept for the last 4 days more so the last two days. I hope to get back to the two days of increased energy. They were the best two days I have has in years. I felt some what normal with the exception of my back.
