I wanted to quit Methotrexate so tried Sulfasalazine. Within one week I started having dry heaves and had to stop. Other than the heaves, I felt super good with it, if one week is an indication of that.

Didnāt work. This med is Rxād off label, I guess it helps some people, but it was designed for gut inflammation.
Hi, I am new to this group. Thank you for letting me join. Iāve been on sulfasalazine a year now. Within a month of starting the drug I felt relief from the pain and discomfort in my knuckles and toes. I started with 4 pills a day, I had to go to 3 a day due to stomach issues. Iāve done well with 3 and at this writing will not go off this drug. It has worked wonders for me.
Gosh I wish it would start working for me. Been on it 2 months now and pain, disability and incapacity has increased incredibly throughout that time. No side effects at all to include any orange wee.

No, just the yellow urine

Some of the tablets are difficult to swallow
