I have no idea if this is linked to PsA, so I’m throwing it out there to see if others have had the same issue. If I happen to fall asleep on my back, I get numbness down my arms (complete numbness) sometimes when I’m waking up. It’s that period between sleep and waking, but it’s like my arms are clamped down and I can’t move them. It’s quite weird and scary as I’m only half awake at the time. It doesn’t happen on my side. I’m guessing it’s a nerve of some kind in my neck, but is this a PsA thing? Everything seems to be linked to it somehow!
Could it be sleep paralysis? http://www.webmd.com/sleep-disorders/guide/sleep-paralysis#1
It listed sleeping on your back as a risk factor.
Yeah, it probably is that simple, I guess. It also lists bipolar, which I have too. I just have got used to everything being psa related!
Not been here for ages, for which I apologise. Anyway, just to say the numbness vanished - no explanation, though, sadly.
glad it went away–even if you don’t know why you had it to begin with!
