My ribs are a whole lot worse now. I think Woodstock beckons. But then I don’t have a very large bosom so presumably that wouldn’t do me any harm.

I don’t wear a bra :-), but I know about the pain in the ribs. I get it on and off and can’t move, it is like a bad spasm. Asked doc about it and he said the PsA can get the tissue between the ribs. Seems like PsA can get into anything.
Hi everyone! I am fairly new to this site and only 6 long years of PSA. I get bursitis in both hips and shoulders…my Rheumi said it is all part of the PSA.
As far as normal sed rate, mine has been normal when my heels hurt so bad I could not sleep on my back without floating them. My Rheumi finally did an ultrasound and yes,
They were inflamed! So much for lab work😁
I am well controlled now on Cimzia injections but it took a while to find a drug that worked that well.

Local junk shop has a skeleton on display. Sadly it’s not for sale. I was thinking I could take her (very small feet) along to rheumy appointments all marked up with ‘where it hurts’.

On the topic of bras…why is it that some bras squeak? What with my shoes squelshing and my trousers rubbing there is no room for bra squeaking…now that’s definitely the percussion section at Woodstock

I always thought it was the cheaper once and that they cut some corners in manufacturing…

Maybe it’s just the underwired ones that squeak when new. My always do and sadly only underwired ones keep me together!

Honestly cheap or expensive… doesn’t seem to matter… some squeak and some don’t…and yes always underwire…

Yes I have rib pain left side It started about 6 months ago. I also have right hip pain so bad. Doctor said a while back my hip joint looked ok. I have also tried different bras.

I feel your pain…literally. Mine is on the left side and in the center near my sternum. I am going shopping this weekend. After years of no problem wearing underwire bras, i can now no longer stand the discomfort. Good luck!

While, as a guy, I don’t wear a bra (although sometimes when I take my shirt off, I think it’s only a matter of time!), is this what I am getting right round down my left side, about four or five inches below the armpit and covering about three or four inches. Basically, it just feels tender - not the ribs, but the bits in between. Not pain as such, but like a mild bruise. I can’t explain it any other way. Have I been worrying about what this might be only to find it’s relatively normal for us?

That’s exactly what I experience, and why bras are torture devices to me.

Thanks. Makes me feel better knowing (1) I am not going mad and (2) it’s relatively normal. I also have irritated skin under the arm too - absolutely nothing to see but just feels dry or chapped. I have no idea if the two things are linked. My guess is that they are not. Oddly, I sweat under that arm but not the other one, and so I’m guessing that is part of it. I’m thoroughly non-symmetrical!
