PsA/fibro

I noticed many of you have both PsA and fibro. Is there any way to know the difference? I'm never sure which is the cause. I don't know if it make any difference except in how much medication I really need to take.

The medications are different. Because PsA can do damage but fibromyalgia can't, it seems to make sense to start off with treatment targeted towards the PsA, and then add in treatment for fibromyalgia if your response is not adequate. The problem is that some of the pain that is diagnosed as FM is actually tendon pain. This is definitely something to talk to your doctor about.

At this point they took me off everything but the vitamins. We will see how the humari works and go from there
