Hello everyone. Does anyone suffer with pain in the neck. For the last while I have pain in my right shoulder extending into my neck. Im wondering if it is psa or stress related or my pillow
Hi JoJo!
I get it in the neck too, not sure what mine is either, the Chiropractor adjusting me is my very best relief, works everytime and I can't wait to get there Monday!
I have bought all kinds of different pillows, I have a short neck, so most of those contour pillows do not fit me right, so I have a soft foam rubber pillow, and sometimes I just roll up a T-shirt and put it under my neck, I usually sleep on my back.
http://www.youtube.com/user/DrStephenKaufman This is a new Chiropractic technique that a nurse from the Fibromyalgia site told me about, the last 3 videos show this being done. Just an idea!
I also use OTC Sports Cream for pain, but that cannot be used with a heating pad.
Hope this helps, and you feel better very soon!

Thanks Sk, its so frustrating not knowing each little ache whethers its psa related or not. Its also exhausting trying to manage it. I have medical insurance which is usually exhausted in the first 3 months of the year from seeing doctors and going for pysio etc. Anyway, seeing my rheumy on the 14th so hopefully he will have some input.
Hi JoJo!
I haven't had neck pains but I do sleep with a neck pillow. It helps a lot. But I am finding that I am having pains between my shoulder blades on my back. Is that similar to what you're experiencing? I'm trying to figure out what this is.
By the way, Happy 4th of July!
Hope you feel better soon.

If he is like mine, he may want an x-ray, and mine is satisfied with just a 'regular x-ray', while others always want an MRI! That way they can watch what develops if it is a problem area, but who knows for sure! Wish you good luck!
