Prior to my wife having hers removed, she was having similar issues, now that Seenie mentions it.
She claims her gallbladder hurts all the time now cause she knows it makes me roll my eyes.
Dilorenzo, mine happens up high usually under my breastbone and radiates either to the right or left or both, just below my boobs. Itās the same kind of pain I used to get from taking NSAIDSāI donāt take them anymore!

@Grandma_J a crude question, but does burping relieve the pain at all, even temporarily? If so, get some anti gas meds. Symptoms sound similar to mind, and I believe I did get it more often while I was on the NSAIDs, which as we all know can cause some stomach issues.
I usually donāt have any gas in the form of burping (or whatever else) when I have the severe pain. Itās like a knife carving a hole. I do sometimes have indigestion with a lot of burping, but that isnāt accompanied by the sharp, stabbing pain.
