Welcome! You will find this site pretty easy to use and full of so much info! I love your expression I felt the same way. The normal searches have great info but little human experience. Finding people you relate to is so comforting. I have a special needs son who’s 12 years old too.
Hi there MamaO and Welcome!! These guys are just the best. Lots of loving care and support.
Welcome, MamaO! It's great that you found us... not so great that you need to be here. ;) This place has been a godsend for many of us. There's nothing like going form feeling like you have no idea what 's going on to having information and support and being able to get a grasp on the situation.
Hello there, Mama O! I live in Ontario, Canada and I was just saying to someone this morning not to worry, the cold and snow would be gone by, oh, the end of May or so. LOL. It has been a brutal winter here as well!
We’re glad that you joined us, and I hope we can give you some some good support. I remember well the day I found this site, and the feeling that I was amongst friends here. Like you say, the door closed and a window opened.
Thanks for the welcome! Now to find my front porch! Maybe, next month! Don’t feel like using the shovel! Cheers!

MamaO I have to ask what is your cats name? Many look like mine but even the expression is the same like twins! Sorry know this is so unrelated to the site but can’t get over the similarities. I even checked your location. Lol!
Hi RChael! The cat is Sebastion. He is from s litter if 2. Rescued by our vet. He’s a very naughty guy, knocking everything that he can move, iff counters etc. he is also very interested in water. Pushes the reservoir off the self watering system… Hangs out at the sink & tub to dip his feet in etc. a very amusing animal, for sure!

What a fun guy! Mine is a girl named Ghost. She was set for adoption 2 times but always disappeared mysteriously until the adopters left and we decided she was just meant to be in our lives. I showed your photo to my kids and said nothing but who is cat is that and they all went running to be sure she was home. Lol. I have known this cat as well as my own children (5 yrs my best friend) and it was like seeing a “ghost”. Uncanny!
That’s cool! Funny how even your kids think the resemblance is exact! I love all animals, but I guess I’m a cat person foremost.
