Always a battle, I know. I have my 80 year old Mom, and she has been having trouble with her SI joints, has already told me that she is NOT going to the Dr about it, so the battle has began! I have no idea how I will take care of her either, I can barely lift the baby and shouldn't!
One day at a time, that is the only way you can work it, Alma!
Get a lawyer if you have to, say nothing about vacation or anything like that!
SK, yes, I do take one day at a time. I have an atty already, they know we were our of town to visit family and are ok with that. They said this part of the process takes the longest. So we wait. Hope your mom will change her mind, we know how painful that joint can be. Thank God my 88 year old mother is very healthy and I can't keep up with her. If there comes a time when she can't take care of herself, I will have to dig up more strength and energy. I have great faith in God and know that He is in control, so I try to leave this all in His hands.
Hope you are having a good day, careful lifting that baby, but how can you hardly not.
