Advice needed

Putting on my mod hat here (and on all these meds, it will sounds a lot like it does when I put my Mama hat on) ...

Boys, please post nicely. If you cannot post nicely, then you can have at it in private messages. The board isn't the appropriate place for the back and forth between the two of you. Now go to your rooms and think about this before posting again!

For future reference, if someone's sense of humor rubs you the wrong way, please comment to them in private. If the comment is to you and you have a problem with it, please contact a moderator and we'll help work through the situation. Please remember we are a place of support and need to act respectfully toward ALL our members, even if they rub us the wrong way.

Rebel mom,

Dealing with a diagnosis of PsA and all that entails is rough - and scary in the beginning. There are tons of warnings, guidelines, suggestions, options, preferences, etc. to sort through, and having a team of people on your side is important. Some find it helpful to know how PsA functions, how the drugs function, and all the specificities of PsA and its treatment. Some find it more helpful to follow the basic guidelines and go on with their lives. You need to find out what works for you. Most rheumatologists have nurses on call who can answer questions you might have. Enbrel has a program you can enroll in that will provide you with information, support, and a number to call with any questions or concerns. And this board is a wonderful place to connect with people who understand what you're going through and can offer support.
