Does anyone have fibromyalgia as well as a variety of types of arthritis? I am doing acupuncture for it as well as starting Savella. I should not have tried both at the same time, but I have been in so much pain. How have either one of those worked for you?
There are quite alot of people here with a combined arthropathy/fibro diagnosis so I'm sure you'll get some replies, Dalusew. We also have a member who is an acupuncturist, although I've not seen them around in a while.
You may also want to look in the Complementary Therapies section under Discussions for threads on acupuncture and also, perhaps, pop it and/or fibro in the search bar at the very top right hand side of the page.
Personally I have found acupuncture can be a very helpful adjunct for symptomatic relief but just a reminder that symptom control is not disease control.
