Canadians or anyone who travels through Canada,
I am entering Canada at the end of a cruise and I see on their website that I need to declare controlled medications. As anyone else dealt with this through customs? I have a few prescriptions to declare and was hoping the process is streamline.
Thanks for any help.
No experience of Canada but I would expect a letter from your prescribing doctor plus the meds kept in their original packaging would be enough. There is usually advice about the actual process required on the relevant government’s website. That’s certainly enough for many other countries bar those who refuse any opiods or pain relief.
