Group..
Hello again. Today is a very tough day. I have not had any relief from my pain. the joints and most of the body, when i wake up from a nap, are so sore and stiff it is as if someone is pulling me in different directions.
the problem with taking pain meds, as I have been Rx Oxycontin, is that is masks the pain for a while then boom it is back. how much oxy can one take until the body rejects it or until the body is addicted. thank God i am not an addict!
i am trying to look at a more natural path way such as eliminating certain foods. (let me also say that tonight is my humira night as it has been 2 weeks and maybe this will help the situation..please remember that i have 2 issues psoriatic arthritis and fibromyalgia )
Back to food..we all know it starts out great then tapers off. i am someone who is not consistent and that is a problem.
sugar, less coffee (down to 1 cup), bread, etc. so i feel like i am stuck.
finally sundays are tough days anyway. i do wan to tell the group that i was told there is a connection of my fibromyalgia / psoriatic arthritis and my mother being killed in a car crash (boyfriend too)

so i will ask you..how many of you have had /experienced trauma in your lives and did you develop illness.. months after that?
Hey,
I've had my share, I really feel for you, both my parents are passed, both by horrible illness, las year with the recesion I almost lost my house and sanity, my husband had a stroke so I had to take over our business one hundred percent, thank God he is normal, all events hit you and you keep, I do that and last year was mine, thans when I got PsA. I have researched neuropathy. The foods of course the sugars, bread, carbs in general. but I have been working out for strength and little by little it has worked. Also I drink every day celery, carrot, orange and aloe vera plant and it has been working for me. I wish you the best of luck with your pain, I wish i had a magic wand and take it away from you. But hang in there I've been on Humira for a year now and it has helped. :)
