I love this site. It’s been a great help to me. Was wondering, as the 3rd shot becomes available in different places, would it be possible to say what country you are in when you reply? I see some do. It would help to understand what is happening where. Thanks. I’m in Alberta Canada

I live in Oregon USA. Just got the third dose on Friday. It was also my birthday and not exactly what I wanted to gift myself but other than the sore arm did not change my plans. The next day did have a terrible headache, stiff neck and then unable to even lift my arm. Spent most of it sleeping on/off and felt much better every time I awoke. I was scheduled to work but can’t keep the headache away for more than a few hours at a time so since I work in a loud manufacturing plant did not go in. Also was informed that I can not return until symptom free just in case.

Third dose was fine in Montana… FWIW had it day after infusion unlike the first 2 I was told to skip my next MTX dos AlsohD to sign a note that I could not take Tylenol the day of or two days after

@tntlamb, why no Tylenol near your inoculation dates? I’m awaiting my booster after the 2-shot Pfizer vaccine. I’ve not heard a single mention of Tylenol here in Washington DC area….?
Dunno, ACR actually put it out in January. Their feeling was that it dulled the effect. They weren’t clear on the other NSAIDS. My Rheumy is on their protocol committee so is pretty religious about those things. If that isn’t enough my pharmacist is her kiddos Godmother… It really didn’t apply to me as I can’t take NSAIDs and wonder why tylenol is even on the market given the side effects so didn’t pay much attention. But then the ACR is why I didn’t have to wait for the third dose.

I’m sure they did. With booster’s opening up soon, they want to make sure that you’re vaccinated and not having to wait at mass vaccine centers
