Stomach and flank pain?

I’m not sure we are inclined to it, but there always seems to be something - an event, or a diagnosis, perhaps - that’s sets it off. In my case, it was dad passing away seven years ago. I firmly believe that, had I not been there when it happened, that I wouldn’t have the hypochondria I have now. But that night at the hospital, peaceful though it was, has been etched on my brain, and I remember coming away thinking “Dad dies of that, I wonder what I’ll have.” It’s odd how we remember such things, and that thought kicked everything off for me. And, of course, then being diagnosed with PsA a couple of years later didn’t help.

I prefer to think we’re just more ‘aware’ than heading down into full blown hypochrondria. I really prefer that thought.

Oh, I’m aware all right - aware I’m a hypochondriac!

Although, to be fair, considering the health issues we have, it’s hardly surprising!

Soo true, ‘once bitten, twice shy’ syndrome, ptsd, etc etc etc, crabby old age a touch too? Quien sabe…

I started eating about half a box of raisin brand a week. It helped a lot of my ab cramping. I’m weird, I sit and eat cereal dry while I watch TV. Bran also helped the slow bowels due to occasional use of oxy. I had cut way back on the oxy until I got these friggin shingles.

I was having side pain. Had an ultrasound and it showed I had fibrous liver. I attribute this to inflammation. Trying to eat better and water aerobics. Hope it helps me.
