New Pfizer drug wins approval to challenge Humira!

Good news for those with RA! Could it also help us?

I read this article last night and was wondering the same thing. Did I read the article correctly though when it said it was going to be $25,000 a month? Wow! But I do like the fact that is it taken orally not having to inject. Something interesting to watch though.

You have to consider that Enbrel is still $1500-1800 for a weekly shot, out of pocket and it's been around since 1998 for RA and then in 2002 for PsA.

My best friend has MS, her weekly shot out of pocket is nearly $4K!!

Hard to wrap your mind around this, huh?

Good to see you around here SK, Cant wait to hear from people who have PsA & tried this new medication. Guess we will just have to give it some time......
