Hi Addie! I am new on here too. I was diagnosed just over a week ago. After years of odd flares that were assigned different diagnosis (plantar fasciitis, bursitis, trigger finger, tendonitis, dermatitis, etc.) finally I did my own research and requested a Rheumatologist. No surprise that the diagnosis was what I has suspected. In the past week I have learned one important thing. Do when you can and forgive yourself when you can't. Cherish the days that you have energy and the pain is controlled and embrace the sofa and a good book when you don't. (If you can!) Remember, you aren't alone...isn't that a good thing to know?
