Hello I am new to this disease and was wondering something, I am currently on Mdx, 5 mg of predisone and mellixican, and folic acid. Anyway, once I start on the biomeds will that help with the joint pain and swelling or will I have to continue to get joints drained.
A biologic should help with the pain and swelling. Of course, it may take a while to find the right drug, but apparently when they work they work well.
I'm envious that you are almost there ... I am tired of failed DMARD trials.

I am not there yet at least another six weeks. Dr. wants me on Mdx for 12 weeks. Just curious for it takes my body at least 5 to 7 hrs to get unstirred and some pain relief. Would like to know if there is hope!
