Influenza A and biologics

Hi there, just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with Influenza and biologics?

My 4 yo daughter is being discharged from hospital today (thank goodness - we were so worried about her) from having pneumonia from Influenza A.

About 48 hours ago, I started getting the same symptoms. I’ve got Tamiflu (and did actually get my flu shot), so I’m still hopeful tests will come back negative and its just a coincidental cold.

But in the meantime, does anybody have any experiences, advice or suggestions?

No experience. Just glad to hear that your little girl is okay.

Did you start taking the Tamiflu?

Thanks Stoney, it was a huge relief, we were so worried about her! I started the Tamiflu straight away, I’ve taken it once before (bird flu when pregnant), and it seemed to blunt off the ill affects quite well.

I will keep you and your daughter in my thoughts and prayers. I am sure it will all work out.

I do not have any experience to share. I had a lot of flus before I knew I had PsA but never knew which ones I had.
