I agree. I just tell people I have rheumatoid arthritis because at least some people understand THAT. People close to me understand the P and PsA but mine is as severe as RA, though less deformity over time.

I frequently say i have a type of RA. It helps so people don't mistake it for OA. Mine is very like RA. I have spine and symmetrical and I have deformities. If my conversation continues or the person I am talking to is interested I tell about PsA the one Phil Meckelson has. They usually get it. Except my mother but that is another story.....
