Alcohol, the drinking type

I think for all of us, so long as we respect our bodies and watch our bloods just in case the meds are causing some funny liver stuff, anything in moderation is probably just fine.

For me, if I think I'm hammering the alcohol a bit too much or if I get headachy the day after a drink I'll switch to de-alcoholised wine for a while. It's not the same as the alcohol version as it's the alcohol which gives body and bite but a good quality product does still have the wine taste rather than being a fruit juice. I've found a really good mail-order supplier in the UK with a wide selection is www.alcoholfree.co.uk. The stuff sold in supermarkets is rubbish.

My favourites are from an award winning Californian vineyard Ariel ..... if you like rose the White Zinfandel is amazing ... www.arielvineyards.com.

Wishing everyone greetings of the season.

Like you say, Lamb, I’d much prefer a Santa with a keg. LOL, Happy holidays!

I've been told that drinking whilst on MTX can cause liver fibrosis. I used to enjoy a beer very, very much but since my enzymes are absolute shit while on MTX I haven't drank.
