Wrist Pain

Hello everyone. Need some advise please. Ive been practically pain free for three months however I have been suffering on and off with wrist pain, mostly in the right hand as i am right-handed. I have an office job so I write and use the computer all day. I am also using a wrist splint to help however it seems it is getting worse. Any ideas on what I should and should not be doing? my medication is humira, celebrex and methotrexate

I use soft spica splints when I'm typing and such when my wrists are bothering me. Remicade has greatly improved my legs, hips, and back, but I continue to have issues with my hands, arms, and shoulders, but not nearly as bad as when I'm off of it.

Paraffin had treatments and massage work wonders, as does acupuncture.

So here's the thing. PsA can lead right into osteoarthritis. I have osteo at the base of both thumbs, one worse than the other, and some other joints in the wrist zone as well. So, what do I do? Well, I also had a lot of instability, so I have been seeing a hand therapist. I now have a custom made splint that I wear when needed, and at night. And I continue to do exercises at home to improve. Like you, even when my overall control was excellent, my wrists and thumbs were left hurting.

It's not perfect now, but it has improved.
