It has been a long journey getting approved for Enbrel in New Zealand. I have fortunately (or unfortunately) gone through months of oral medications to find that all of them caused negative side effects... resulting in today's exciting news! Enbrel.. here I come.
Of course I have to have a chest x-ray, blood tests and there is numerous red tape to go through.... but in 90 days I return to my dermatologist for my prescription and a quick trip the local hospital to receive instruction on the self injection process and, then, "presto" I am finally on Enbrel.
I did explain that my PSA has improved due to my sugar free diet... (or it is in remission??.. ) but Enbrel should help both my chronic psoriasis and my PSA....
My dream is to have a full body massage when my psoriasis is clear.. Twenty five years my body has been 75% covered in ugly red patches.... oh what a sweet dream...
