Do you think MTX would help with fatigue? I stopped taking the pills because they made me too nauseous but I understand injecting is better.

So glad you found a good help. I also have gone through a few rhuemies and think (crossing my fingers) that I've found a good fit for me.

I have had a terrible rapport with a few docs, I guess I had to get lucky sooner or later. I fired my rheum. My current doc is actually a FNP and she rocks. She'll spend half an hour at an appointment if I need it. She double checks everything on her computer or in a diagnostic book. She treats everything for me, not just my PsA and AS. One stop shopping. I consider her a friend. I see her at a social fellowship we both belong to - every week. I have her number and can text her anytime with questions. I really don't see how the situation can be any better. She says that once my disease gets to be too much for her to manage she will refer me out to another rheum. So far she is doing a great job!

NP= Nurse Practitioner. They can diagnose, treat and prescribe like physicians or physician assistants.

Mimi, I’m glad to see you have a better handle on things. It so tough to keep it together all the time. I don’t know about you, but I do a fairly good job until I don’t. Then it’s not pretty. I’m less Kathy Bates and more puddle of snot and tears. I’m doing a pretty good job today though. My wonderful, understanding husband went with me to the thrift store and let me have a 20 minute free-for-all! I got a wool beautiful black suit, and found the matching pair of slacks to a designer suit I got a few weeks ago, and found a 3 piece linen Tahari suit. So cool. I am so loved. Sounds like you are too!
