Dear fellow chicken carer,
Sounds like you are only too aware of the danger foxes pose to the ongoing protection of the brood…who would have thought caring for chooks could be this hard and labour intensive??? I hope you have been able to secure that letter that allows you entry into the next chook show.
I had one big egg hatch last week when I found out I don’t have temporal arteritis. Very good news. They don’t now if the headaches and scalp sensitivity are connective tissue related or something else but atleast I am safe from blindness…lucky cos I need to watch the brood

Otherwise no more hatchlings expected until mid to late June as that is how long it usually takes for the approval process. I do fear that I will be rejected as I just have never clearly fitted…but yet all I can do is care for the eggs the best I can, keep them warm, watch out for foxes and be patient. Bye for now… off to repair the chook house
Yay!! That is good news indeed!
There’s no way I can match that awesome extended metaphor, not at 5am anyway! (Ailing dog, not ailing me). But I wonder how many others with PsA don’t fit the criteria perfectly? Yet presumably your rheumy thinks biologics will help or he wouldn’t have made the application.
It took me about 2 years to get the clucking things in a row but I still responded well and then some. And then all that waiting was forgotten. Hang on in there!
(i was so incredibly confused…
I thought you obviously had chicken and also mentioned PsA things but it didn’t make much sense… Stop confusing the non English natives

)
So sorry Cynthia I got a bit carried away and also forgot this sight certainly covers many countries…chooks are sorry too

Cynthia you do extraordinarily well. Allegedly I’m a native English speaker but I can’t understand what I’m on about myself half the time.
Hahaha no problem! It’s funny once I figured it out…
I’m doing my best
it’s more difficult here with all the medical stuff… but more the day to day medical stuff…
(I keep writing replies and then finding them way later when I stumble upon the topic again… sorry!)
