The pain

Hi, the pain, I had that same problem before I started Enbrel. I actually thought it was my muscles locking up every time I sat still for just a few minutes. It would be very painful to move certain joints--my neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, fingers and back were the worst. Omg I don't EVER want to have to put up with that again!!!!! I always thought if I could be in perpetual motion I'd feel better, but the fatigue was ever present, too. I did keep very active despite feeling like crap. Geez, I've had some bad pain since I've been on Enbrel, but none of THAT kind of pain.

I can't say enough good about Enbrel--it saved my life!

Be the pushy patient! I know I an in the US but it works! 1 year ago to the day I knew my rib problem was not just getting better like it had in the past. I had already seem one doctor, then appt with next , then finally my primary on October where I had my diagnosis. I had to push just to start MTX and made it to full dose before side effects got so bad I was missing work because of them instead of PSA pain. I alone support a family of 5 and was getting closer to loosing my job because of it. I pushed harder and have been on Enbrel for 3 months now. It took its sweet time working but I am about 60% or more better just from it. Be pushy, test the limits like a teenager does there parents because usually the next phrase is “you have nothing to loose” but that doesn’t apply with this disease. Hit hard as you can so you can benefit in every way! Good advice Jules!
