Can I just ask, what are your side effects from taking methotrexate ?
I don’t get nausea but feel ridiculously bloated all the time and especially so after a meal. My stomach is rock hard and I feel so uncomfortable. I told my doctor and she Said try taking the meds at night, this makes no difference. Does anyone recommend anything which stops bloating?
Anyone else get this?

Well, the old chestnut (but a very good one) is to drink plenty of water on a regular basis. Not sure if it would prevent the bloating, but might help. Is that something you do already?

You posted last summer about being on 10mg. Are you still on that dose? The maximum dose is 25mg, so it isn’t a really large amount.
Did this bloating just start recently? Usually side effects happen when you start a drug, not after having been on it as long as you have.
If the bloating doesn’t disappear soon, you’d best give your doctor a call. Taking mtx doesn’t give you immunity against other problems. (Unfortunately! LOL)
