This is an example of the wounds, rashes and peeling I experience on my face during a flare. I also experience peeling on other parts of my body, although the face and the chest seem to be the most common location for this particular skin issue. My skin on my face becomes so intensely dry that it’s painful to talk, touch or move my face.
