Yes, I think we can, depending on how bad the disease is and how well it is controlled. I would say I am quite fit now, unfortunately not in the modern usage of the word, but in the traditional one. Time was I was down to one functioning limb, my right arm, so things can change as long as damage isn’t too bad. Even with damage there are likely to be ways to promote fitness, but it’s &*££y hard work.
Channel Locks? I use a pliers.
LOL. Check out the smaller channel-locks when you’re ready to move on, or the Knipex if you require something more Euro/exotic. I’ve also screwed one of those EZ-off gizmos under the kitchen counter: surreptitious but effective. I suppose the day will come when I’ll have to drag my oxy-acetylene torches out of the garage and into the kitchen. So it goes, but I’ll probably have to pull the batteries out of the smoke detectors!
HAHAHA back in the day, I was an ICU Nurse and used to bring tourniquets home to unscrew bottles and lids. Other nurses brought home IV tubing to secure their tomato plants. Who knew huh?
Pilferage: a long and honored tradition. I still come across blue pencils my father swiped from the General Electric Company 50 years ago, and two of my workshop clipboards are labeled “English Department, xxxx yyyy School.” There’s a pretty permeable membrane in a number of ways between life and work, for good and ill.
Oh don’t start on that…Some of my items just happened to be in my scrub pockets when it was time to go home. Those and about 5 different pens. till have that “issue” with pens, and have quite a collection now. I probably should be studied.
Sure, and a couple of those clipboards just happened to be in my briefcase.
