Very funny seenie - just made me laugh! Yes you’re all right - I shouldn’t overdo it but it’s so hard when you finally have some energy … Don’t worry though don’t think I’ll be hopping round like an Easter bunny - feet aren’t quite that good
The good news continues - energy levels are great - back to pretty much pre-psa. Had a few iffy days but feet are barely hurting at all. It may not last but today I am happy and much packing done over the last week - I’m even cleaning kitchen cupboards! Yay…
Good for you best wishes I am still waiting for relief but hopefully!
Thanks science teach - so sorry you’re not feeling great - how long have you been on enbrel? Is it just not working for you? I saw you started gabapentin - how’s that going? I was prescribed lyrica early on, for pain - a med similar to gabapentin so that may be an option if you don’t find relief! Unfortunately I don’t seem to do well with pain Meds so apart from a very occasional (twice yearly) ativan I make do with tylenol or nothing - mostly nothing. I do know how miserable it is when things aren’t going well but hopefully you will have a few good days which make it easier to cope with the bad … Well I’m hoping that for you x
What great news! Make hay while the sun shines, Golfnut, but be careful about overdoing it.
Have a great weekend

Well it didn’t last! Feet swollen again, thumb is joining in too and to top it off I now have a fungal infection in my mouth and throat - have to gargle and swallow a very unpleasant tasting concoction 4 times a day … 3 humira injections done so will just have to be patient. On a positive note my sister is arriving soon (haven’t seen her for 2 years) with her daughter (haven’t seen her for 8 years) so I am beyond excited. I also got all my packing done so am ready for the move on Friday
It's early days. Keep the faith, Golfnut, and enjoy your sister and niece in the meantime. Good luck with the house move.
Golfnut, I’m just wondering how many days it has been since your last Humira injection.
Last injection was on Sunday seenie
I was wondering if maybe this was the second week. I think I am noticing a fading in the second week, but who knows.
Do you think you might have been working a bit too hard ton the packing up and the preparations? Will your sister and niece be able to pitch in?
Hope things turn around for you. Don’t forget that even on the biologic you can have flares.
I don’t know what exactly but I think it’s clear that so far the humira isn’t working! The pain is intense and I can barely walk - I have been working too hard but trying to rest up - loads of help from my sister who also has psa - I give up - gonna ring rheumy on Monday to try to get earlier appt for steroid injection
